The Malta Development Bank has launched a Guarantee Scheme (CGS). This scheme aims to provide a €350 million fund to support all types of businesses in Malta to meet cashflow disruptions due to the effects of the Covid-19.
This scheme aims to provide a €350 million fund, as a guarantee for commercial banks accredited by the MDB to provide €777.8 million in new working capital loans.
These loans are limited to certain parameters including the annual wage bill and turnover and can only be used to cover certain outlined costs.
