On Thursday 9th April, MFSA published a feedback statement following a consultation document which it published in 2019.
The Authority states that it has revisited its proposals regarding the regulatory framework for CSPs, in view of feedback received, and whilst some positions have been retained, others have been revised.
The main objectives of this exercise was to:
- raise standards for CSPs across the board; and
- address the concerns raised by MONEYVAL within the Mutual Evaluation Report;
- summarize the feedback received on the consultation paper on the regulation of CSPs and give the Authority’s feedback
