Responsibilities
We are seeking to recruit a Senior HR & Payroll Executive who would be responsible to manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processes and HR services provided to a portfolio of clients. The chosen candidate would have an in-depth knowledge of Payroll regulations and HR legislation and must be able to work well under pressure, have strong organisational skills and be a good team-player who is able to foster a positive work culture. The chosen candidate will be reporting to senior management within the same department.
Job duties
· Take on overall responsibility for the management and execution of all payroll processes in an organized and timely manner ensuring accuracy and compliancy to legal and tax requirements.
· Support to clients on Payroll and HR matters that may arise including any physical/online meetings.
· Submit End of Year reconciliations and other submissions to Tax Department
· Ensuring proper submission of all employment documentation to government entities and maintaining copies in an organised manner on company database
· Co-ordinating Employment licensing and permit applications
· Keeping abreast of changes in tax or employment regulations and updating the team accordingly.
· Lead other juniors within the same team; train and develop these team members.
· Manage Clients’ employee lifecycle from engagement to termination
· Support clients with development of HR Policies and procedures and any other HR queries posed by clients.
Essentially Primary Requirements
· Minimum MQF Level 3 Payroll qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Work & Human Resources or similar
· Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role
· Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Familiar with payroll software tools including time & attendance
· Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of Italian would be considered an asset
· Demonstrates leadership qualities.
· Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, follow up and multi-task
· Honest and trustworthy
Other
Candidate would need to be in possession of a clean driving license and own car.
