We are looking to expand our IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal users with 1st line support
  • Perform routine user management tasks (e.g onboarding and offboarding users)
  • Assist users with routine IT matters and follow-up on support requests;
  • Liaise with the IT contractor and other service providers
  • Procurement of equipment and liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Documentation of internal IT related policies and procedures
  • Training of staff employed by the company
  • Monitoring of systems security
  • To keep him/herself fully adjourned and updated with regards to technical developments and advances in the fields of business of the Company
  • Such other duties as may from time to time be required by the Company, which are in line or ancillary to the employee's position

 

Essentially Primary Requirements

  • Windows Active Directory / Azure AD
  • Office Desktop Suite and Office365
  • Customer Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • 1-2 years work experience would be considered an asset
  • Understanding of networking and printers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Have the highest ethical standards
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
  • Ability to make a rational decision considering relevant risks and take responsibility for such decisions
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A excellent command of written English

 

Qualifications

Following possession of following certifications would be considered an asset:

  1. Microsoft Core / Azure related infrastructure
  2. Linux LPIC-1
  3. CCNA

More experienced individuals will also be required to:

  • Research, development and implementation of software systems, and their application, as directed from time to time by the Company
  • Support the advisory team in the preparation of bids for tenders;
  • Provide technical advice to clients on hardware and software related issues;
  • Support clients in the preparation and evaluation of request for quotations and their evaluation
