The Role

In this role, you will be supporting management with contract execution and overseeing the work of junior members within the team as well as acting as main point of reference for the temporary workers (interims).

 

Duties

  • Handling all HR-related queries from interims and junior colleagues, clarifying interpretation and correct application of Company policies and procedures, ensuring prevalent employment legislation is adhered to
  • Support management with all aspects of contract management including the pre-selection process, onboarding and off-boarding, performance appraisal, absence management etc
  • Ensuring HR records are kept updated and in line with statutory provisions
  • Maintaining and updating the HRIS (Talexio) and Time & Attendance systems including payroll information by collecting, verifying, calculating and entering data
  • Communicating with interims mainly via email or calls and coordinating periodic meetings
  • Issuing periodic and ad hoc reports for management
  • Coordinating and assisting with all administrative tasks relative to this project as the need arises: including maintenance of records, data-inputting, mail-handling and issuing/processing any documents required
  • Assisting management with meetings, work-plans and trouble-shooting as well as other tasks relative to this project as the need arises.

 

Essentially Primary Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 year experience in the field Human Resources (candidates hailing from a professional services background will be preferred)
  • Experience leading a team; coordinating work-flows; mentoring juniors and training newcomers
  • Excellent track record in customer service

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Applications especially Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
