The EMCS Group of Companies has been awarded the prestigious NCPE Equality Mark, an official certification recognising organisations that actively foster equality, diversity, and inclusive workplace practices.

Presented during the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) Annual Conference held on 27th May, the award highlights EMCS’ continued investment in building a forward-thinking workplace where people come first.

The NCPE Equality Mark is a national accreditation granted to organisations that demonstrate tangible commitment to eliminating discrimination and embedding fairness into their policies and operations. The certification reflects EMCS’ alignment with key pillars of a modern workplace, including equal opportunities, work-life balance, fair pay, and safe working environments.

At EMCS, these principles are not just policies—but an integral part of the company’s culture. From ensuring fair access to recruitment, training, and career progression, to implementing family-friendly measures such as flexible working arrangements and teleworking, the organisation continues to evolve in line with the expectations of today’s workforce.

Commenting on the achievement, Antoinette Gouder, HR Director at EMCS, said:

“Achieving the NCPE Equality Mark reflects our long-standing commitment to creating a workplace where fairness, respect, and opportunity are embedded in everything we do. At EMCS, we recognise that a diverse and inclusive environment is fundamental to both our people’s wellbeing and our long-term success. This recognition motivates us to continue strengthening our policies and practices as we build a workplace that is truly future-ready.”

The recognition also highlights EMCS’ commitment to maintaining safe and respectful workplaces, with active measures in place to prevent harassment and promote employee wellbeing, as well as ensuring that services offered are accessible to all.

This achievement reflects EMCS’ long-term vision—one that goes beyond compliance and focuses on building a culture of belonging, where diversity is valued and talent can thrive.

As organisations navigate a rapidly changing world of work, certifications such as the Equality Mark serve as an important benchmark. For EMCS, it is both a milestone and a motivator, strengthening its resolve to continue shaping a workplace that is inclusive, progressive, and future-ready.
