Government has announced an aid package aimed at assisting businesses facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The measure announced are the following:
LIQUIDITY
Deferred tax payments
Possible 3-month moratorium for both personal and business loans
Government guarantees to bank making €4.5bn of credit available. This should be at a lower interest rate.
SAFEGUARDING EMPLOYMENT
Grant of €350 per employee on mandatory quarantine
Employees of enterprises that suffered from a complete suspension of operations will be entitled to a grant of 2 days salary per week based on a monthly salary of €800
Self-employed individuals who suffered from a complete suspension of operations will also receive a grant equivalent to 2 days salary per week based on a monthly salary of €800
Self-employed suffering from a complete suspension of operations having their own employees shall receive a grant equivalent to 3 days salary per week based on an assumed monthly salary of €800
Full-time employees who have lost their job from March 9, 2020 will receive a temporary increase in unemployment benefit of up to €800 monthly
