Stephanie holds a degree in Accountancy under the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA) and Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA). She is also a locally Certified Public Accountant and obtained the Vat Compliance Diploma, under the Institute of Indirect Taxation, UK and attended the MIT diploma course organised by the Malta Institute of Taxation. She is constantly keeping abreast of changes and following training.
Stephanie has many years’ experience having started her career as an Executive Secretary and progressing to holding a position of Group Management Accountant. She then focused on Tax and Vat matters and her current position is that of Senior Manager, Tax.
At EMCS, she reports to the Tax Partner and is responsible for servicing both international and local clients on Tax and VAT. She is particularly experienced handling advice on personal and payroll matters.
Stephanie has wide ranging skills and experience thus placing her in a unique position within the company to assist in many different areas in the corporate and taxation sectors. Being a long serving employee of the company, she also acts as a mentor to the more junior employees in the corporate and tax sector.
