EMCS has been the official agency for data collection for the SHARE (Survey on Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe) project in Malta - a multidisciplinary and cross-national panel database of micro data on health, socio-economic status and social and family networks of more than 120,000 individuals aged 50 or older (more than 297,000 interviews) covering 27 European countries and Israel.

An extensive market research exercise on behalf of the Eurostat (the European statistics agency) for the data collection relative to the European Health and Social Integration Survey.  This survey involved the carrying out of a minimum of 3,795 interviews to explore any restrictions or disadvantages that some people may face in different life domains.

EMCS also carried out the Household Finance and Consumption Survey on behalf of the Central Bank of Malta.  During the first wave of this survey in 2010, Grant Thornton carried out 850 face-to-face interviews with randomly selected households residing in Malta and Gozo.  This exercise was carried out again in 2014 with 1,000 households.
