Ramon is an honours graduate in Management and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Malta.

Recently, he attained a certificate in Managing People from the College of Management and IT (CMIT), Ireland and is an ILM Certificate in Professional Coaching and Mentoring.

As director at EMCS, Ramon heads the market research and evaluations division within the company. He has over 15 years’ experience in these fields. Furthermore, Ramon was engaged by the Ministry for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change (MSDEC) to play a key role in the drafting of the policy report, “Greening our national economy”.

He was also involved as a key component for the undertaking of a bottom-up approach to planning a new rural development programme for Malta and in the drafting of a strategic report “A new strategic approach to Malta’s Rural Development Planning 2014 – 2020.”

Since 2015, Ramon was engaged as the regional expert for Malta for FAME (Fisheries and Aquaculture Monitoring and Evaluation under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) Support Unit.
