Key skills EMCS uses in this type of consultancy include evaluation of new opportunities e.g. new technologies; product innovation, a chance to purchase a rival company; moves to improve short-term profit performance; dealing with company-specific operating problems and strategy-related internal issues; as well as, evaluating opportunities for diversifying a company's revenue base and introduce altogether new industries.

EMCS has developed its own proprietary forecasting models which are thereafter incorporated into a financial model that puts forward integrated information that is utilized to measure the IRR and NPV of an investment project.
